- This monument is indeed very interesting because the beautiful building is still well maintained and also clean. In this place, there was a battle between the Balinese against the occupying forces in the independence era of Indonesia. The war was known as "Puputan War" which means all-out war. So, the monument is the symbol of respect for the Balinese people's struggle.
We can also reach the top of the monument through the spiral stairs to see the view of Denpasar city form above. The view of green trees that extend surround the Puputan Renon square with the blowing wind from the window in the top of the museum would make our mind so relaxed after we take a walk to see the dioramas and photo collections in the monument. But one important thing that we have to know, women who have periods are not allowed to go to the top.
